Welcome to The Ivy Group! Excited to get started?

Absolutely. In the last month, I have graduated from Haverford College, moved from Pennsylvania to Virginia, spent two weeks in Italy, and officially joined The Ivy Group. Just a few short weeks ago I was living as an RA on a freshman hall--my life couldn't be more different now, which is very exciting. I'm ready to get to work.

As a Project Specialist, you will be doing a lot of work using social media. What's your favorite social media outlet?

I love Facebook because it is neither a purely social nor professional space. It integrates both aspects of our lives together- the companies and stores we "like" and the friends from high school we enjoy cyber-stalking. Another great thing about Facebook is that I never need to be reminded to use it the way I might have to be nudged to update my LinkedIn profile or see what's new on Instagram. Checking Facebook has been woven into the pattern of our everyday lives, which makes it an incredibly useful outlet for businesses hoping to catch people's attention.

What are you most looking forward to doing at The Ivy Group?

I can't wait to start working with clients to build and improve their social media strategies. Social media is an amazingly powerful marketing tool yet many businesses are unsure how to leverage its capabilities to their advantage. I look forward to working alongside clients to develop and implement successful social media strategies that will benefit their business.

Anything in particular people should know about you?

I'm a bit of a mad scientist in the kitchen and I love to bake. Anytime you want chocolate chip banana bread, lavender shortbread cookies, or chocolate fudge cake, just let me know.
