The Ivy Group designed a logo for New Country Organics, an organic feed company based in Waynesboro, Virginia. New Country Organics, formerly Countryside Organics, wanted a logo with meaning, something that would match the significance of organics.
The logo colors are a reflection of the Earth's natural elements; yellow sun and varying shades of green symbolizing earth, soil, and life. Organics are characterized by a depth of ecological balance; a depth that is mirrored in the subtle complexity of the New Country Organics logo.
The logo features a sun encircled by a spiral, which represents the Fibonacci sequence, also known as the golden ratio. The spiraling Fibonacci sequence is famous in mathematics and occurs naturally in nature, signifying the deeper meaning of organics and the mission of the good folks at New Country Organics.
