Ivy Group Programmer’s Side-Project “Foodio” Makes Headlines

A mobile app developed by our very own programmer Nabil Ahmed was featured on an NBC 29 news segment last Saturday and has received attention from local weekly The Hook and RestaurantHospitality.com.

Nabil and two fellow students created Foodio, an innovative food-ordering application currently used by five local restaurants. Although the app is still in beta version, it has been downloaded by over 250 users. Foodio allows users to split checks between multiple credit cards, submit joint orders from multiple devices, and order food for counter pick-up.
